Touring car foam - 125cm² / 100bhp
20mm thick, 2 layer foam intended for circuit use and clean conditions. Excellent flow rate but relatively low filtration efficiency, not recommended for long term road use or where long term engine life is critical. Is often used where the available space for the filter is less than necessary to achieve the desired flow rates.
Turbo foam - 179cm² / 100bhp
20mm thick, 3 layer foam intended for general use and used as standard on all Maxogen filters. Reasonable flow rates with filtering efficiency suitable for road use and most motorsport use. Not suitable for extremely dusty conditions or prolonged off road use.
G60 - 188cm² / 100bhp
20mm thick, 3 layer foam intended for general use and able to deal with finer dust than turbo foam. Recommended for turbo and supercharged cars where turbo/supercharger and engine life is a high priority. reasonable flow rates and filtering efficiency suitable for moderate off road use and all road car applications.
WRC Foam - 200cm² / 100bhp
20mm thick, 2 layer foam intended for dusty conditions and where fine dust is a problem. Flow rates are reduced due to the very fine foam used to increase overall filtering efficiency. Recommended for off road use and applications where vary fine filtering efficiency is required.
WRC+ - 210cm² / 100bhp - 235cm² / 100bhp with touring car oversock.
20mm thick, 2 layer foam intended for extremely dusty conditions and should be used with a touring car foam oversock to give a 4 layer, 40mm foam with very high filtering efficiency and very good dust loading tolerances. Flow rates are reduced due to the fine layers used and the depth of the filter material. Recommended for extremely dusty conditions.
Foams for carburettors and throttle bodies with self extinguishing inner layer.
JC70 foam - 143cm² / 100bhp
10mm thick, 2 layer foam with a self extinguishing inner layer to prevent the foam melting if the engine spits back or misfires. Foam intended for circuit use and used as standard in our JC70 filters and many custom domed filters. Flow rates are fairly high with suitable filtering efficiency for most track use.
